January Favourites

January 2015

"How can you already have favourites from January," I hear you all scream. Well trust me. It's only the third day but I've had a lot of alone time and I've made my decisions. 

I want to talk a little bit about each of my favourites to give you a little insight into why they, well, made it into my favouites in the first place. 

Film

  Without a doubt my favourite film this month is The Theory of Everything.

The film follows the life of a young Physicist, Stephen Hawking, in his journey through adulthood whilst he finds his theory to discover the beginning of time, falls in love with literature student, Jane, and is diagnosed with Motor Neuron Disease. This film is both a tearjerker and heart warmer and all round perfect cinematography. I would 110% recommend this film to everyone. Eddie Redmayne, you done good.

TV Show

I know I'm 5 years late on the band wagon, but after recommendation from a friend, I decided to give Pretty Little Liars a try and I LOVE IT! I've always been a sucker for secrets. I'm the kind of person that gets to know people individually by asking personal questions (sorry friends) and I allow myself to share things with people that I maybe necessarily don't want other people to know. And I guess Pretty Little Liars is also sort of based around the idea of secrets too. I'm currently on Season 3 after only about a fortnight of watching. But what can I say? I cant get enough!

Colour

You have no idea how much I want to say black to this question. Buuuuuut
...
White. I honestly can't stop buying white. I think I first started to fall in love with it when I bought my instax camera in white instead of the blue one I originally had set my heart on. Since that day all I've done is buy white bed sheets and white notebooks and white clothes. Help!

Music

Oh goodness. Where do I start?
Well. Firstly, after seeing him live last year, my favourite male artist has to be Mr George Ezra. I've really think I've fallen in love with him. His voice gives me goosebumps and his face makes my heart flutter.
My favourite female artist has to go to Taylor Swift. I've always like Taylor and her music but I was never a die hard fan. I'm pretty sure everybody on the planet has fallen in love with 1989 just as much as I have. It has to be one of my favourite albums of 2014. See you in June Tay!
Choosing a favourite band is probably the hardest decision I'll ever have to make. But this month my favourite slot goes the one and only The 1975. I have no reason. I just like their music.

Restaurant

Last week my ever so kind boyfriend treated me to a meal. After being too impatient to wait 45 minutes for food at the Hard Rock Cafe, we decided to head to Five Guys burger restaurant. Oh. My. Goodness. It has to be the best thing I've ever tasted in my entire life.

Store

It has to be the one and only Urban Outfitters. 

Books

Is it even acceptable to have one book that your heart is dedicate to? The answer is no!
This year one of my resolutions is to read at least 30 books. I've started my journey by deciding that I want to reread the Harry Potter series. So, that's what I'm currently reading.
